Autumn has come and with it the season of the witch. Cleansing rites and harvest and, the Hunters Moon are due.
I've set myself a goal, to finish works on the book this season, and we're getting close! First off, I want to thank my beta readers for lending me their eyes on this first manusscript in the Legend of Gardyan series. I appreciate all your feedback and can't describe how grateful I am that you support me. I am almost done with the final read and should complete it by the end of this week. After that, I'll go on some more excursions in the visual department!
New Content in the Making
There's still a map to draw, too. I've recently started experimenting with Inkarnate, which was great fun and I can only recommend the tool to every fantasy map enthusiast.

During the next few days, I want to master the cartography a bit better to finalise the first ever realisation of Gardyan's worldmap. (or at least parts of it!) This is such a fascinating process right now and I'm enjoying every second of it.
You soon also shall be provided with new content on the website. Maybe I'll even finally get around to reanimating the forum. Rest assured that I am working on this project every day, so if you guys don't see me on social media that much, please show some lenience with me!
Sign of the Raven AI Shenanigans
I must say, I am a little bit disappointed with the selection of AI voices available online. While some accents are provided in high quality, others lack quality quite a lot. I'm not sure if it's a microphone issue or if the AI model just uses a limited amount of sources for generation.
Anyways, finding the right voice for every character is an exciting part of my current to-do-list. They really harmonise the otherwise often grim narrative and tell me that my impulse to make this a tragic comedy is still around!
Side note: I'm not done in terms of character design either. October will be particularly exciting in that regard! We have some of the more "creepy" characters up this month and I can't wait to get around their animations again!
Thank you, Insta Gang!
The feedback on my novel project is great and I wanted to thank all new followers. You guys are all very inspiring and I especially apprecate traditional artists not dodging me completely. ^^ You know I have the greatest respect for your art, even though I attempt to express mine a bit different.
First and foremost, I am a writer. And to draw images with words is my prime directive. But creating reels and sneak peeks for followers is such an amazing experience as well. Love you all for being with me on this journey. =)
